The Zeest Foundation is a non-profit welfare organization established in 2002 with the primary objectives of enhancing healthcare provision, promoting quality education, and combating poverty. The foundation remains steadfast in its dedication to achieving these goals, thanks to the generous financial support provided by its Board of Governors.
In the healthcare sector, our partnership with Geo Hospital has resulted in significant accomplishments. We organize daily health camps for women in various schools located in underprivileged areas, providing complimentary pre-natal check-ups and ultrasound services to numerous expectant mothers. Additionally, we offer financial assistance for childbirth procedures, including simple vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections, to our target demographic of underprivileged mothers. Dr. Sadaf Mushtaq also offers free check-ups for women every day from 8 am to 10 am at Geo Hospital, with ultrasounds available at a nominal token fee of Rs 50/-.
Furthermore, the Zeest Foundation has expanded its efforts into the realm of education. To support economically disadvantaged children, the foundation awards scholarships to a selected number of students annually.
Moreover, the Zeest Foundation provides support through Qarz e Hassna (Interest-Free Loans) ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 to a limited number of individuals, as part of its poverty alleviation initiatives. These loans, offered for a maximum term of two years, aim to empower recipients to establish small mobile retail outlets such as fruit and vegetable stalls, tea shops, food stalls, puncture repair shops, and various other enterprises.
